There is an asymmetry between the person living a life and the institutions extracting, interpreting, and creating value from the data that life produces. MyCaseStudy is the inversion of that relationship.
MyCaseStudy began with a simple idea: the person living the life should have agency over the data that life creates.
What if people could decide when their experiences become data, who may use that data, for what purpose, and on what terms?
What if participation began with meaningful consent rather than passive extraction?
What if individuals could contribute to innovation and knowledge while retaining agency, provenance, and a fair share of the value they help create?
MyCaseStudy exists to help build a data economy in which people are not merely sources of information, but active participants in how knowledge and value are created from their lives.
How we're structured
MyCaseStudy Association (MCSA) is a nonprofit-led data sovereignty ecosystem developing technology that enables individuals to control, contribute, and participate in the value of their data.
Our commercial technology is developed through MyCaseStudy Technologies (MCSTech), a commercial venture structured to become a for-profit subsidiary of MCSA, creating a pathway for scalable commercial investment while preserving mission oversight through MCSA's majority control.
