Terms of Service
Effective date: August 30th, 2026. Last updated: August 30th, 2026.
The short version: This is an informational website. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and promises nothing beyond hearing from us. Portibilify is under development, and what we describe here are plans, not guarantees. Be honest in our forms, do not abuse the site, and know that these terms will be updated when Portibilify launches.
1. Agreement.
By using mycasestudy.org (“the site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Who we are.
The site is operated by MyCaseStudy Association (MCSA, “the Association”), a Canadian federal not-for-profit corporation.
3. What this site is.
The site describes the Association’s mission, programs, and products in development, including Portibilify. Statements about products that have not launched are forward-looking: they describe what we are building and intend, not what we guarantee. Features, eligibility, timelines, and economics may change before launch. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or investment advice, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy securities in any entity.
4. The waitlist.
Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation on you and no entitlement for you: it is a request to be notified, not a contract, an account, or a guarantee of access, eligibility, or earnings. Contributor eligibility for Portibilify is determined at launch under its own terms. We may modify, pause, or close the waitlist at any time. Your email is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your submissions.
Information you provide through our forms must be accurate, and you must be the person you say you are. If you send us ideas, feedback, or suggestions through the contact form, you agree we may use them to improve our work without obligation or compensation, and that they are not confidential. Do not send us anything you do not have the right to share.
6. Acceptable use.
Do not misuse the site. That includes attempting to breach its security, interfering with its operation, submitting spam or automated form entries, misrepresenting your identity, or using the site for any unlawful purpose.
7. Our content.
The site’s text, design, and graphics belong to the Association or its licensors. You may view and share the site for personal, non-commercial purposes, and you are welcome to quote it with attribution for commentary, research, or reporting. Do not present our content as your own or use our names to imply endorsement.
8. Third-party services.
The site relies on third-party providers (described in our Privacy Policy) and may link to external sites. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
9. Disclaimers.
The site is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the site’s availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, and we disclaim implied warranties. We work to keep the site accurate and current, and section 3 explains why some statements are necessarily forward-looking.
10. Limitation of liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Association is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the site, combined, is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100) in total, not per claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
11. Changes.
We may update these terms, and material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. These terms will be updated when Portibilify launches, and the Portibilify app will carry its own terms.
12. Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Disputes belong to the courts of Manitoba. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect; our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
13. Contact.
Questions about these terms: use the contact form on this site.
